ACCOUNTING SUPPORT

COMPREHENSIVE ACCOUNTING SERVICES

Accounting services should provide the owner with two things at the same time: timely mandatory reporting and clear figures for managing funds. We will agree the documents and calendar, allocate responsibilities between the client's team and UBC specialists, and organise current accounting, payments and filing-receipt control.

How to Start Business in UkraineOverview for companies

You will know the status of settlements, upcoming obligations and matters that need to be resolved before the period is closed.

Scope of Accounting Services

The scope of services depends on the legal form, tax regime, number of employees, contracts, bank accounts, goods and foreign economic operations. Before work begins, the accountant determines who issues primary documents, approves payments, manages inventory, signs reports and responds to counterparty enquiries. This prevents duplication between the external accountant and the client's team.

A basic package covering current accounting and reporting is suitable for a small business. A company with VAT, imports, production or several business lines requires an expanded procedure: separate accounting areas, reconciliations, management reports and coordination with a lawyer. The scope can be changed as operations grow.

Within the agreed scope, specialists process bank and cash transactions, settlements with customers and suppliers, primary documents, payroll, taxes and mandatory reporting. For goods and fixed assets, receipts, transfers, write-offs and depreciation are recorded. At the end of the period, registers and control reconciliations are prepared.

The package can include registration of tax invoices, electronic document flow, foreign-currency transactions, HR accounting and preparation of information for a bank or auditor. A non-standard transaction is considered separately first: the accountant reviews the accounting treatment, the lawyer reviews the contract and authority, and the owner reviews the economic outcome.

At the outset, a calendar and a single exchange channel are established. The client's employees know the deadline for providing invoices, acceptance documents, delivery notes, HR information and explanations for bank transactions. The accountant asks the specific responsible person for a missing document instead of gathering data through several unrelated correspondence threads.

Electronic originals are retained together with evidence of signing. The paper archive remains with the client or is maintained under the agreed procedure. Access to online accounts, qualified electronic signatures and banking systems is allocated so that the company retains control while the service provider has only the authority required.

Reporting and Information for the Owner

Mandatory reporting demonstrates compliance, while management reporting shows the state of the business. On request, the accountant will prepare clear indicators: revenue, expenses, receivables and payables, cash balances, taxes and results by business line. The format is agreed according to the decisions the owner needs to make.

Before filing reports, the accountant reconciles the main accounts and checks document completeness. The client receives information on accrued amounts and payment deadlines. If an unusual transaction arises during the current period, its accounting treatment is agreed in advance while the documents can still be prepared in the correct sequence.

The accountant takes over the accounting database after a short initial review. Opening balances, latest reports, settlements with the budget, open contracts and document availability are reconciled. Identified matters are recorded in a separate list: some are resolved before commencement, while others are included in the plan for the first months.

If the service provider changes, UBC will prepare the database and archive for handover. The client receives registers, breakdowns, filed reports and the status of open tasks. This procedure preserves continuity of accounting and the company's working data.

A bank assesses not only reporting but also specific payments. For a material purchase, foreign-currency transfer or new counterparty, the accountant gathers the contract, invoice, primary documents and information on the commercial purpose in advance. The lawyer reviews the terms and authority if the transaction falls outside the ordinary process.

UBC can prepare an explanation based on the accounting records and link the payment amount to its treatment in the registers. The client's employee receives a list of files that must be retained after completion. This procedure is useful for regular international settlements and transactions involving several participants.

If the bank asks an additional question, the accountant responds to the substance of the specific request and uses one agreed version of the facts. The accounting figures, contract and bank explanation do not contradict one another. The owner sees the status and understands what information is still expected from the counterparty.

During the year, individual accounting areas are prepared for the final close: inventory is taken, settlements are confirmed, and fixed assets and open obligations are analysed. The accountant will allocate the actions across the calendar in advance so that documents for the annual result are received throughout the year.

Before a profit distribution, an investor is brought in or a new business line is opened, the owner receives current figures and breakdowns. The accountant and lawyer can prepare data for the corporate resolution. After the business changes, the service package is reviewed and the required accounting areas, reports and specialists are added.

Cost and Regular Accounting

The cost is determined after assessing the transactions and accounting areas. It is affected by the number of documents, employees, bank accounts, cash registers, goods, foreign-currency transactions and reports. A fixed package is suitable for a stable workload, while additional work is agreed in advance under a separate estimate.

The accountant joins a new transaction before the first document is issued where the settlement is affected by currency, VAT, an intermediary, deferred payment or an unusual delivery procedure. The lawyer reviews the contract, the accountant reviews the accounting treatment and document set, and the manager reviews the commercial parameters. The client receives an agreed version without repeated changes after payment.

For standard sales, forms and the limits of a manager's independent authority can be approved. Any departure in price, party or payment method is referred to the relevant specialist. This procedure speeds up routine transactions while preserving attention for deals that genuinely require separate analysis.

The agreed rules are included in the company's working instructions.

Tell us the tax system, number of transactions, accounts and employees, and whether there is VAT, a cash register, imports, warehousing or foreign-currency settlements. Provide the most recently closed period and a list of software used. The accountant will propose a calendar, monthly scope of work and management-report format, while additional tasks will be separated from the regular package.

At the start of work, the accountant divides documents by process: sales, purchases, bank, cash, payroll, taxes and settlements with owners. For each area, a submission deadline and the employee who confirms the transaction are identified. The accountant sees the complete set before the monthly close begins, while the team understands what information is required and in what format it must be provided.

After recording transactions, the accountant reconciles the bank, mutual settlements, taxes and key balances. Management receives a concise report showing what has been closed, which amounts are payable and which matters require a management decision. This calendar makes accounting support a predictable part of the business. UBC will align it with your turnover, team and reporting schedule.
